These services extended to 334,000 desktops and 20,000 mobile devices. We support various users, and thousands of local and worldwide customers via our OASD-PA public-facing Web-based applications.<\/p>\n<p>We provide application development, mission support service desk, network, system and database administration. All network, database, and application development operational support and integration solutions conform to Department of Defense (DOD) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation (C&amp;A) requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Each year more than 100,000 people visit the Pentagon. Tours of the Pentagon are managed through our Java Web-based application, Pentagon Tours, that we developed and maintain. Currently these services are being transitioned across the government, from the FTS 2001 contract to the new Networx contract.<\/p>\n<p>SSA has consistently been in the lead of all of the large government agencies in this transition. They support Ginnie Mae in acquiring, licensing, and managing hardware, software, shared services, and maintenance support for hosted application service. Our enterprise architects work with Ginnie Mae stakeholders on technology refreshment. Based on project deadlines, MicroTech had only 60 days to write SOPs \/ FAQs, hire and train qualified technical personnel, badge all staff members with HSPD-12 credentials, and develop procedures for issuing equipment and all other technical support functions.<\/p>\n<h4>Technology<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Support high volume FAS Help Desk center<\/li>\n<li>Provide Tier 1, Tier 2 support<\/li>\n<li>Manage Vendor Support Center<\/li>\n<li>Provide interactive vendor training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Highlight<\/h4>\n<p>MicroTech supported the GSA FAS office in providing full spectrum facility and IT Help Desk services to more than 1200 personnel that made up the Presidential Transition team.<\/p>\n<p>The MicroTech team faced many hurdles and firsts in support of this important FAS contract. This was the first time that advanced telecommunications technology like smartphones, notebook computers and wireless broadband access were involved in an executive office transition of power.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe opportunity to plan or and predict was minimal, but MicroTech provide competent, dedicated staff that got the job done.
